Aspiring entrepreneurs and innovative business owners from Door and Kewaunee Counties are invited to showcase their ideas at the upcoming Lighthouse Launch Pitch Event, hosted by the Door County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC), Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation (KCEDC), and UW-Extension Kewaunee County, in partnership with New North, Inc.The event is sponsored by AT&T Wisconsin and will take place on November 13, 2024, from 5-7 pm at the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay.Participants will have a unique opportunity to pitch their business concepts to a panel of judges. Each entrepreneur will be allotted four minutes to present their idea, followed by a brief Q&A session.The top two winners will advance to the Regional Pitch Competition at Titletown Tech in Green Bay on December 4th, where they will compete against other finalists from across Northeast Wisconsin.First place winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize and second place will be awarded $500.Contestants must be at least 18 years of age, and the business must have generated no more than $300,000 in annual revenue or capital raised.
