The Kewaunee County Christmas Stroll opens November 22-23, 2019. Grab a Stroll passport and Stroll, Shop, Stamp, and Win! Visit participating businesses throughout Kewaunee County where you can get great deals, enter to win in-store gift certificates and get your passport stamped for a chance to win cash prizes. The more stamps you get, the bigger the prizes!
The Stroll is put on by the Kewaunee Area Chamber of Commerce, the Luxemburg Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Algoma Area Chamber of Commerce and features Chamber members who chose to participate. The event also runs November 29-30, 2019.
Friday, November 22, 2019: Sign up with the Algoma Public Library for some family fun for the Thanksgiving Turkey Dilemma Escape Room. Take a class and make a Snow Globe Pillow, Wall Hanging or Tote at The Quilted Fish, or make your own winter pot at the Winter Potting Class at the Algoma Youth Club.
After you’re done strolling, on Saturday night 11/23, stop by Fishtale Ale House and listen to the music!
To round out the weekend, on Sunday, 11/24, there is Wellness Weaving with Haack Art at Roots Yoga or take in an Open House tour of The Grain Loft!
Wednesday 11/27/19 brings us Thanksgiving Worship 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Church. During the evening hours, adults can take a COGA class and learn about Digestive Health at Roots Yoga, then head to Steele Street Hops featuring live music with Blank White Page or head to Red’s Pub & Grill for a Pre-Thanksgiving Partay!
Thursday, November 28, 2019: Start Thanksgiving morning with a Zumbathon® Charity Event: Huff ‘n Puff b4 u Stuff at the Algoma High School. Then head off to dinner: Thanksgiving Buffet at JW’s Place or a Community Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Paul’s Church.
On Friday, November 29, 2019, the Kewaunee County Christmas Stroll continues for the second weekend and Makers Market at James May North opens.
Saturday November 30, 2019, the Kewaunee County Christmas Stroll continues as does the Makers Market at James May North.
Algoma Area Chamber of Commerce joins small businesses all over the country with its Small Business Saturday event! Many Chamber members have special hours and special sales during the 6th Annual SBS Saturday Passport Party! The Selfie Spot Sweepstakes is back as well!
Also on Saturday is North Water Bakery and Deli Annual Christmas Open House. The event includes: horse-drawn wagon rides, decorating cookies with Mrs. Claus, plus Santa will also be here, so it’s not too late to get on the nice list! We’ll have real live reindeer from Reindeer Games and elves so get your phone ready for some great pictures.
For your evening entertainment, Scary Canaries and Friends will be performing at the Algoma Performing Arts Center and the DJ is back at Fishtale Ale House.
Sunday December 1, 2019 is the opening of the Winter Market at the Algoma Community Wellness Center.
