About Roots Yoga From Jamie
I found a passion for yoga after taking my first class in 2011. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in various yoga classes and studios, always learning from the instructors.

The results have made a positive impact inside and out making me feel stronger, more confident, improved posture, body awareness, stress release, better sleep, and so much more!

Taking yoga education further, I went for my 200-hour teacher training in January 2018. I am trained to deliver a variety of teaching styles with emphasis on Vinyasa.

I enjoy connecting the mind, body, and breath into each class. I believe everyone can be inspired through yoga, leaving room to discover new possibilities for the mind and body.

Yoga is for everyone, come and enjoy practice with me!

Class descriptions

This Slow Flow yoga class is designed to connect breath with movement.  Moving this way relaxes our mind and makes us slow down- letting go of stress, and going deeper into postures if preferred.  Leave this class feeling content and focused.  Expect the usual yoga postures with room to modify.

All levels welcome. 60 min class.

A calming, stress-relieving yoga class to stretch and strengthen the body gradually.  Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body, practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment and detail. Recommended for all levels looking for a soothing, relaxing, and restorative experience, especially those beginning yoga or working with special concerns.

All levels welcome. 45 min class.

Jam: Rise and shine! Morning Jam is an all level yoga flow, designed to set you up for a great start to the day.  Expect to build heat with movement and breath, flow with Vinyasa style yoga, and get your music groove on!  Modifications are instructed while experienced yogi’s may choose more advanced postures.  This class concludes with quiet relaxation, an opportunity to give your mind space to focus.

All levels welcome. 60 min class.

Noon Express:
Hear that lunch whistle blow!  Time to get out of the work zone and fuel your body for the rest of the day.  No prep needed to take this class, yoga mats will be set up for you.  This is an express class that will recharge your mind by adding movement, breath work, and stretches.  Need lunch? Grab a granola bar, fruit, and water on your way out the door.

All levels welcome. 30 min class.

This style of yoga links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. Vinyasa aligns a deliberate sequence of poses with the breath to achieve a continuous flow.  This yoga class will build heat using movement and breath, delivering strength, flexibility, and balance.  Modifications are instructed while experienced yogi’s may choose more advanced postures.

All levels welcome. 60 min class.

The title says it all, come and relax with us!  No yoga experience needed to attend.  We will connect breath with more restorative yoga poses in this class.  The benefits may include: stress reduction, more restful sleep, lower blood pressure, and much more.  Bring your pillow & blanket- class concludes with a restful journey into deep relaxation.

All levels welcome. 60 min class.

*All regular group classes $10, cash only at this time.

*Space is limited, reservations available upon request.

*Yoga mats, straps, and blocks provided, but you are welcome to bring your own mat.

*Private & group classes available upon request.
