Public Restrooms At The Algoma Visitor Center To Open June 11, 2020

We are happy to let you know that the Algoma Visitor Center public restrooms and entryway will reopen beginning June 11, 2020.  Hours will be 6AM – 10PM daily.  The interior of the Algoma Visitor Center remains closed until further notice.

We are following the City of Algoma’s guidelines they are using for public restroom use. These facilities are being opened for your convenience.  The city recommends that people do not use the facilities, so please understand that you are using the facilities at your own risk.

As per the City’s guidelines if you choose to use the facilities it is advised that you:

  • PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING: Practice social distancing and avoid close contact with others outside your household. The CDC recommends maintaining a physical distance of six feet from others.
  • STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK Keep our public ares safe; please stay home if you are sick.
  • PRACTICE GOOD PERSONAL HYGIENE Visitors are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes. Wash or sanitize your hands after touching surfaces. Avoid touching your face. Sneeze or cough into a tissue or the inside of your elbow.

We are doing our best to maintain current levels of service. A daily cleaning will take place but please note that equipment and other surfaces are not sanitized regularly throughout the day.
