Big Lake Campground is located approximately one mile from the boat launch, fishing piers, beaches, shopping, fine dining, wineries, arts, and a short distance from golf courses.
Big Lake Campground prides itself on being the gatekeeper to the Door Peninsula; just a quick trip up into wine country with the hustle and bustle of tourists, but then just as quickly get back to the quiet serenity that this little campground offers. Â
Also, it‘s only 600 yards away from Lake Michigan where one can truly enjoy the cool breezes on hot summer days while camping and relaxing. Bikers, tourists, tenters, sportsmen or RV’ers are all given a cordial personal welcome with a warm smile. Â
