    • August 5, 2022 is the first Friday of the month and that means First Friday in Algoma WI!

      There will be art of all mediums, sales, refreshments, friendly conversation, and just a great time as you stroll the streets of  downtown Algoma, WI. Galleries and shops are scheduled to be open for the evening from 5 – 8PM unless otherwise stated.

      Participating Algoma Area Chamber Members Scheduled for August 5:

          Stop by and get your summer gear! Refreshments will be served.
        • BellaLuna’s Apothecary & Boutique: 211 Steele St.
          Come celebrate BellaLuna’s 5th anniversary and get 25% off your purchase!

          Rockin’ Raku presented by The Pottery Co-Op. Buy a pot for $10 to $30! Glaze it yourself! Watch as the flames fire it! Take it home the same night!
        • Ladybug Glass Studio and  Gallery: 219 Steele St.
          Exhibition Opening: Molly Johnson has been a professional artist for over 35 years, receiving her degree in Architectural Rendering and Watercolor from the American Academy of Art in Illinois and classical training in portraiture and the figure from The Academy of Fine Art here in Wisconsin.
        • Robert Ray Gallery: 520 Parkway St.
          Exhibition Opening: “Midsummer Magic – Paintings from Life” by artists Bonnita Budysz and Robert Theaker. Bonnita Budysz will be doing an oil painting demonstration from 1 to 3 pm. Organizations who champion water issues will receive a donation from the painting demonstration and a percentage of the Water Dance painting sales.
        • Steele Street Trading Co & Gallery: 300 Steele St.
          Exhibition Opening:Sue Cusimano and Barbara Zipperer. Great art, jewelry, fine wine, and gourmet chocolates!
        • The Country Cupboard: 510 4th St.
          Book Signing for local children’s book author, Bev Davis. Bev has written 4 children’s books and offers them at The Country Cupboard.
          Refreshments will be available.
        • The Pottery Co-Op: 610 4th St.
          Rockin’ Raku at Clay on Steele, 221 Steele St.
        • WaterFront Creations: 207 Steele St. Open until 7PM
