Kim’s journey with glass began as a hobby in 1987, driven by a personal love for stained glass. By 1990, she had transformed this passion into a business, initially selling her work at art fairs and to friends. At the time, she was living in New York and working as a biochemist and research scientist. However, in 1992, upon moving to Wisconsin, she left the lab behind to fully commit to her art.
After nearly three decades of selling through fairs and other galleries, she took a bold step in 2020 by opening her own brick-and-mortar gallery. Owning her own space has provided her the freedom to create and showcase her work without limitations.
