Algoma UMC Hosts Sweater MakersThe Sweater Makers meet once a month at the Algoma United Methodist Church, 804 Parker Avenue in Algoma with members from Kewaunee, Brown, and Door counties.

Those sweaters have brightened and warmed the lives of children all over the world: Albania, Armenia, Bosnia, New York, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chicago, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Lesotho, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mongolia, Nicaragua, the Pacific Northwest, Peru, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, Swaziland, and Zambia.

The next meeting of the Sweater Makers is Thursday, April 26, 2018, at 1:15 p.m. at the Algoma United Methodist Church. Knitters of all abilities and those wanting to learn are welcome.
