The Algoma Housing Authority (AHA) and Grand View Terrace Apartments, a HUD-subsidized Public Housing Authority in Algoma announced they are receiving a $50,000 grant from Nicolet Bank to complete their window replacement project.  Previous HUD grants allowed them to complete only half of the project.

While working with Nicolet National Bank on a Federal Home Loan Bank grant application, Nicolet offered Algoma Housing Authority a chance for a direct grant to assist on the project.  AHA was awarded the direct grant and the project is scheduled to begin this spring.

Of working with Nicolet Bank, Algoma Housing Authority Executive Director Michael R. Krienke said: “Due to Nicolet Bank’s generous support we are now able to complete all the necessary exterior building updates.  Grand View Terrace will meet our mission of providing safe, quality and affordable housing for years to come.  Brenda Stoller (Nicolet Bank, Algoma) and Chelsea Gay (Nicolet Bank, Green Bay) are great to work with and have been instrumental in helping us secure this grant.  We truly appreciate their support.”
