Algoma Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center Set to Reopen
The Algoma Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center located at 1226 Lake St., Algoma is set to re-open Friday, June 26, 2020.
“We certainly missed our volunteers and visitors alike, and we are very excited to greet them once again. Our Visitor Center is a main attraction here in Algoma, with the beautiful lake views and Crescent Beach access. The Visitor Center is staffed by a wonderful, knowledgeable group of volunteers that love to speak about this great community to our visiting guests.” stated Kay Smith, Executive Director for the Chamber.
The new Visitor Center hours effective Friday, June 26, 2020, will be:
- Monday, Thursday and Friday from 10AM – 4PM
- Saturday 10AM – 1PM
- Sunday 1-4PM
The Visitor Center will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Some hours may vary depending on volunteer availability. Please check Facebook for updates changing hours.
A plexiglass barrier made and donated by Matt’s Handyman Service, is in place at the greeting counter. We are requesting that masks be worn. Hand sanitizer will be available. Please remember to stay a safe distance (at least 6 feet) from other visitors.
The entryway and restrooms reopened June 10, 2020. Hours are 6AM – 10PM daily.
